Agilika island


Agilkia Island is a small island located in the Nile River near Aswan, Egypt. It is most famous for being the new home of the Temple of Isis, which was originally located on Philae Island. The temple complex was relocated to Agilkia Island as part of a massive UNESCO-led rescue mission in the 1960s to save it from flooding caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
